Hand Woven Necklace

These necklaces are woven using a spool and needle. It’s a knitting technique. I use a single strand of cord and string all of the beads on first, weaving them into various patterns. These pieces are lightweight and soft. The only weight really, comes from the beads. These necklaces are also great for those with metal allergies as they contain no metal, just tie them at the back, which also makes them adjustable. These are woven with a tan waxed linen cord, glass beads and measure 18 inches with 10 extra inches for knotting. Other colors and lengths are available, just convo me your preferences. Each piece will arrive gift boxed with a special gift from our sunny shore!

If I Sailed the Desert

If I Sailed the Desert

A sailor adrift on a silvery sea has only his rope to pass the time. Turquoise rope weaves together the ages in an endless circle.

Over four yards of turquoise and sterling beads, strung twice, are woven three times around in a fivefold braid forming the sailor’s knot.
